Management development is all about equipping those in charge with the right tools.  Imagine trying to fix a car without the right tools.  My neighbor has a very cool car - A Mustang GT.  He was changing the oil on the car he had so proudly purchased and did not have the right size of filter wrench (thingy that easily removes an oil filter for the non-technical crowd).  We tried belts, hands, and every boy scout trick I knew of, but it would not budge.  After 2 hours, we went to the store and bought the right size filter wrench.  It took less than 10 seconds to remove the filter with the right tool.  Management is much the same.  If you are equipped with the right tools (skills), then it is really pretty easy.  If you don't have the right tools, you are going to experience some very frustrating stress.  Our management video series puts the right tools in your toolbox so that you are ready for what your employees throw your way.
